check for codes. also maybe check your fuel pressure. but it does indeed sound like a fuel problem

the check engine light comes on and off but I believe thats because of a cherry bomb instead of the cat

i dont think so....i dont think there is an o2 sensor post cat. not positive though. pull codes. its not too hard it tells you how to do it in the faq. then tells us the codes that come up and we can go from there

These guys are being too technical. If it runs when you spray starting fluid in the throttle body and dies when the fumes are gone then you it is a fuel problem. Check your fuel pressure. If no ressure then check the filter. If filter is not stopped up check to see if you have fire to the fuel pump. The wires are behind the rear seat. If you do not have fire to the fuel pump, check the fuel pump relay.

are u sure the cherry bomb is not a high flow cat?
scann to see if u have any stored trouble codes. if u have recently unhooked the battery (that clears the memory)it may not have any. the codes well tell what happened to make the computer store the code. could be one of a number of things or a number of things causeing your problem and the codes can make things easier and less expensive. coolvette has some good places to start.
