Im looking to get my 92 RS back on the road,and I need to get new shocks and struts.I was wondering wheres the best place to look,I know tirerack sells the KYB's but Im looking for more of a performance oriented shock that doesnt cost a ton of money.Im actually considering lowering it also so I would like to get springs and shocks in one shot.Tire rack also lists the Bilsteins but they want 250 each which I think is ridiculous for an 18 yr old car.Thanks everybody!

 

If you don't want to break the bank with Struts & shocks, I suggest the following.
I replaced my original Factory Bilstiens with KYB GR-2 struts & KYB Gas-adjutst shocks on my 1987 IROC-Z28 and I am pleased with e ride & performace. Your 92 RS will handle very well with the Kyb's. I rank KYB as #3 behind the two more expensive brands.

Another sugestion about springs and that is to leave them ALONE unless they are really shot. Ride height is about the lowest of any car on the road to start with.
