Default 91 RS 305 VS 89 blazer v6

So last night me and my room mate got my car runnin pretty good. We fixed the charging problem and headed home. Wile we were driving my Room mate chris got next to me and hit it. so i decide to race him. this part hurts to say. he pulled on me, slowly but he did pull. lmao. we came to a red light and i said lets do it from a stop. light turned green and we both hit. and man it was loud as hell. His truck is a straight piped from the header back (i.e no cat or muffler) and my camaro is headers to a true 2 1/2 dual exauast that stops right at the rear axel. this was at 3 am also. We were head to head the whole way. for bout mile an a half. (****y i know) I couldn't beleave i was gettin held with. i thought the 305 was atleast kinda quick. he damn blazer burns more oil than gas. All i know is if i'm to keep this car it's going to need some serious up grade. lol

after all the yrs workin on cars this **** really isnt fun any more. it use to be just a project (workin on cars) now it's a daily thing. ford probes, hondas, acuras, chevys, bikes truck man the list go's on. I mean it aint ot bad with my room mate owning a sweat *** garage but it still is gettin a little old. if you have any suggestion on things to do let me know.
