Default S-10 Blazer 5 speed.

I was told that a Chevy S-10 blazer 5 speed will bolt up to the 327 in my 68 Camaro. Is this true and has anyone done it. They are not expensive.

thanks

The 4.3 has the same exact bellhousing bolt pattern as a small block Chevy.
In essence, the 4.3 is a 350 with 2 cylinders missing.
But the real question is, will the 5 speed hold up ok behind the 327. What are your driving habits?

Well it would be for cruising, on it once in a while but no hard stuff. I was told (all by buddy who used the s-10 trans in a truck) that it is quite strong, I have 308 rear gears.

thanks
