'91 Camaro Advice Needed
I have a 1991 Camaro RS 305 V8 5.0L
Which I am guessing you know has a cluttered Engine Compartment. So I want to change my air filter from the current stock one to the Edelbrock 14" Pro Flow Round Air Cleaner. I know the new one will fit, but i have a few "extra attachments" such as a tube rising from my exhaust manifold, which I think is to somehow improve combustion through preheating the air. Anyways, I would gladly appreciate any comments that will help solve my problem. Thanks for your Time!

its called a heat stove, when the engine and weather is cold the valve in the aircleaner will open to let in the warm air to prevent the fuel from iceing up the butterfilies. not sure where you live so this may or may not be a problem if removed.
