Default 91 350 TBI fuel delivery issues

Hey guys. I have a 91 camaro that I'm having trouble getting it started up again. It will crank over and sputter up on starting fluid but other than that it will just keep cranking over. I checked the fuel pump and it is pumping fuel out. Put a new filter on it and still nothing. Any suggestions? I have had this car started before just after I bought it. I was working on it and had it at an idle and it just died. I tood the distributor cap off and the rotor had basically been ripped apart. SO I go a new one and have spark at the plugs, just not getting fuel into the injectors. At least I think so. ANyway any suggestions woulde be appreciated.

Thanks!

Where did you check for fuel flow, down by the fliter or up at the TBI? Was the fuel kinda running out, or was it able to shoot across the garage? If the pump is bad, you can have fuel, but not enough pressure to squirt through the injectors.

Checked fuel at the pump. This camaro has an access panel cut into it... lazy people who had it before me. Anyway, it was not spraying come to think of it. It was more of a pour. I will it again at the filter and then if it still doesn't seem to be enough of a spray replace the pump. Thank you.

I had this with my old 91. Removed the fuel line at the TBI and gas barely dribbled out when the pump primed. Ended up being a deteriorated and split rubber connector at the pump. Pump was good but I replaced it since all was apart.

Put a fuel pressure gauge on the shrader valve on the fuel rail should be anywhere from 35-45 psi. If not chances are your pump is toast!!!

^ That's part of the fun of diagnosing this car. TBI doesn't have a fuel rail, nor a schrader valve. Fuel inlet line from the pump goes straight into the TBI.
For lack of a better description, TBI is more or less a glorified carburetor with 2 injector pods that squirt down the throat.

Ended up being a series of things... Pump, some fuel line, and a short in the harness. Thanks all.
