88 intake fuel rail fuel lines?
So i have an 87 tpi 305 5speed irocz that i just pulled the engine out of and put in an 88 tpi 350. I changed from a v belt to a serpentine and now my alternator is on the drivers side, and i eliminated the smog pump, and i have a ac delete pully. I used the brackets from the 88 motor that holds the alternator and the powersteering pump, so this bracket that im using is bigger and one piece where as the 305 and i think like 3 pieces useing bars for brackets, so my problem now is the bracket im using is in the way of the fuel lines that attach to the intake. I ended up heating them up and running them staight down and around my powersterring pump and up to the rubber hoses that i had to bend down to get them to reach the metal lines. They are connected now but it looks ugly and i might of put a couple very small kinks in them. So i need to know how are the lines for this set up run if it was set up for this motor in the first place? where can i get the lines, or can i use something like copper lines, or steel braided fuel hose? I havent run the car yet im waiting on a starter. any ideas?
