Default 86 iroc is driving me nuts... help

i have a 1986 irocz with 60,000 orig. miles, bought it last summer it was like brand new, drove it thru the winter(live in northeast dumb idea) and now it sounds like the suspension is squeaking over bumps, i hear a nasty popping noise when braking and seems to only happen if i havent touched the brakes for a little while, and theres an iritating clicking noise comming from one of the wheels sounds like a universal but who knows

any car that low being drivin in the winter will cause problems just put the car on a lift and power wash the bottom. my mustang (00 v6) mad all sorts of noises after all the salt and snow (i live in the northeast too) i had to grease everything and power wash it everything was fine after. just clean it hopefully that will help.

sounds like a bad ball joint or wheel bearing. have it checked out by someone if you dont know how to do it yourself

The squeking is probable from a bad ball joint like Micro said. I mine does the exact same thing, it even squeks when I drive slowly; when I got it checked out he told me I need to get new ball joints... Hope this helps

these cars do not like to sit and while visually 60 k miles is nice that doesn't mean much for the parts. i'd do what's recommended above and have it checked out as well. nice find though all the same!
