86 camaro wiring issue
Hi everyone Im new to the forums and chevys but heres my problem, i recently purchased a 86 camaro berlinetta it has an aftermarket 400 sb with a 4bbl carb when the swap was done the guy just left the old harness hanging to the side it no longer has airconditioning. My issue is the windsheild wipers dont work and niether does the vent on my ac does anyone have a wiring diagram or advice how i could find the wires to these components?

Well, aside from doubting its a 400 (not too common of a motor) what I would check for is.
1. Often times an aftermarket coil is tough to fit unless mounted on the firewall...usually right where the windshield wiper motor is mounted. In other words the previous owner may have removed the motor as it is pretty bulky. The wiring that connects to the motor may still be on the right side of the bay by the shock tower.
2. If you are only getting air(heat in your case) from the defroster, your vacuum source is disconnected, again that vacuum line may very well still be on the right side of the bay, it usually connects to a vacuum source on the front of the carb... If you have vacuum advance it'll most likely be the only port available which will most likely be on the right side of the front of the carb. If you have mechanical advance, you can still use that right side port.
I am fairly certain at least thats whats up with your vent situation.
Chilton or haynes have decent wire diagrams, pick yourself up one of those they come in pretty handy.
