Default 84 vs 85

Hey guys -I recently got an 84 base model, the nose is cracked, it has a dent in the hood and the rear qp is dented. interior is so/so....well there is a 85 taht supposedly has good all those things for 500, but with a locked up engine. my ? is, are all these things from a 85 compatible with my 84? Or would I be better to take my 350 out of the 84 and put it in the 85? or neither?

you should be fine to take the parts off and put it on your car. But with that rear quarter being dented, i might be worth swapping motors. thats up to you.

The 82-84 Bumper covers and Ground FX are different thatn the 85+. But, they will all bolt on and the fenders, doors and quarters will interchange as with many other parts

I ended up not going for the 85, however, today my pops is gonna look at a 83 Berlinetta that I found on Craigslist near his work. It needs an engine and tranny, so I may just take my 350 amd tranny out of the one I have. YAY!
