Default 83 Camaro Rattles

My 83 T-Top Z/28 was tight as a drum when I ordered it new from the factory. It took just a few years for the rattles to start. Is this common to all Third gens or just the T-Top cars? I can jack up one corner of the car and can see the doors go out of alignment, so it definitely flexes. I'm really not sure if it's just the body, as I can hear the back hatch and doors rattle too. It seems like I can remember my wife's 82 Camaro 6 cylinder coupe not being near as noisy as mine when it was about the same age.

My advice to cure some of the rattle problems would be ge welded in SFC and a STB for the front end.
These may not be the cure all for you, but I swear by them on my 87 IROC-Z. Since I am the orginal owner, I can say the car is tigther now then when it was new.[sm=gears.gif]

Thanks! Could you tell me what is and where I can look at an STB? SFC's have been recommended to me before.

I have SPOHN PERFORMANCE tube type SFC's and HOTCHKIS STB. I am a firm beliver in the STB because it ties the front end togther on uni-body cars.
