Default 82 v6 starts and idles for a few seconds then stalls

Hey guys. I have an 82 2.8liter I have put in new distributer parts and new spark plugs. It only has 69000kms and all original. It will start and barely idle for a few seconds then stalls. I have already taken catalytic converter off thinking it was plugged. It seems as though It's like you just turn the ignition off.

Barely idle? is this an idle only issue can the motor rev?

no it won't rev up. As soon as I try to give it throttle it stalls out. Carb was removed and rebuilt so I don't think it's that.

Next I would verify there is fuel pressure and that the accelerator pump is spraying when the juice the throttle. Next would be to check the Vacuum.

Did the engine ever run since the distributor has been installed?

.

I bought it from a guy that had it stored in a garage for about 30 years and hasn't ran for idk how long. There is all kinds of fuel going into carb. Will have to verify if it's spraying out of jets into intake
the vacuum lines arent in the greatest shape but I thought it should at least run a little bit at least

There are so many thinks this could be. Weak spark, too much fuel. not enough fuel, distributer installed wrong, jumped timing chain. low compression, EGR valve stuck open, I am sure I am forgetting some. Things get real complicated if there is more then one thing wrong which can happen in 30 years.
