Well im pretty new to all this demestic stuff as you guys can tell from my earlyer post haha but

Can a 4barrel carb fit on a a normal intake? like an Edelbrock Performer RPM?

 

it depends, the intake manifolds are different. that one prolly will fit. ifthe hole is about4inches in a square and a bolt configuration almost resembling an X it should fit. most aftermarket intakes are for 4 bbl. they also sell adapter kits from 2bbl to 4 and vise versa. but there might be a hood clearance issue though.

 

I have the Edelbrock RPM Performer Intake on my 350 with a 4 barrel 750 Holley carb. Hood clearance will be effected by the spacers and what type of air cleaner you inted to use

 

would it be able to clear on a stock RS hood with just a 14" 'dish' style aircleaner?

 

i will check tonight and let you know i don't have any spacers on mine so i will measure

 

If i didn't have the hole in the cowl hood i would not have enough clearance.
