We our racing season is over and we have a 350 Crate Motor that we can't use anymore. Just wondering how hard it would be to swap it in place of my Carbed 305 ( the 350 is carbed to ). I know if i swap it, the 700R4 can't handle 470HP. So on that note, how hard would it be to put a Turbo 350 trans. in it?
Thanks for the help.

Yes, building the 700R4 is the best route to take. I had mine built for a little over $1200 and it's guaranteed up to 600 HP.
Billet input shaft, high volume oil pump, kevlar bands/clutches, Transgo shift kit, 2300 stall converter, and Corvette servos are just a few parts thrown into mine.

yea, the stock 700r4 can handle up to around 350 hp without any needed parts. after that, a shift kit will suffice in keeping the bands and clutches together as well as an additonal oil cooler. however, the 700r4 can handle just as much power as a t350, they are basicly the same thing with the exception of overdrive.
