I am currently swapping the hurt 305 with a 350 in my 87 iroc. The 350 is one from a 80 to 85 year, according to the numbers on the block. It has pop up pistons, so the low cc chamberd heads from the 305 will be to low for pump gas, and I think they will even hit the valve. Anyone else know anything with the motor that will not be compatible. I hear making the 350 a roller motor will have some issues.
The computer will have to be altered, so anyone know how or where I can get a chip done?
I have a lot of work do do yet, so if anyone can help I would greatly appreciate any help I can get. Thanks

 

If you are using the TPI from the 305, 22# FI & Knock sensor are required. For the ECM Prom (chip) I have one from Fastchip.com for my TPI 350.
