2.8 and I would like to swap it with a 305

Hello there I have an 85 with a 2.8 v6, and I would like to swap the engine. Is the 305 a good swap? If you could help me post a reply. I would also like to know the horse power on the 305. Thank you

If you are going to swap engines, go to at least a 350, the work is the same, and the results much more rewarding.

i agree with z28pete i suugest you either find a junked car iroc that has or had a 350 so you can try to salvage parts like the drive shaft and more
