Default 1987 Iroc Z28

Hey guys, I got a 87 Iroc 5.7 tpi. I have a list of problems with the car. The major problem I have now is nthe damn thing won’t idle worth a crap, and when you get it running it’s like it has a miss in it, but you can’t keep it running long enough to do anything. My dad and I have as a team tried to adjust the timing and the tps, but to no prevail. In fact my car is a black sheep. When you get it to spec it runs like dog s*^% I’ve rebuilt my distributor, bought a new tps, new plugs wires, replaced the computer. The only thing I haven’t done is replace mass airflow sensor and the o2 sensors (well take that back I had a spare o2 sensor and put that in, but it didn’t do anything to help) I’ve spent well about 400 dollars on this car and all it’s done is make me wanna grab a beer and a cigarette. I need help. Any input y’all have is greatly appreciated.

Did you read the plugs? which one is misfiring? How is the Vacuum? I am thinking of all the things it could be that you have not touched yet. There are literally whole books on how to track down a miss in a Tune port injected car and that assumes you already verified the engine itself is in good working condition. You should unplug the MAF sensor. Put the car in LHM. If the car runs better is a computer/sensor related

Just ideas:
Injectors
Valves
EGR Valve
Carbon build up in the intake
Vacuum leaks
Loose timing chain
low compression
