Next time I sit in my damp drivers seat after a good rain, Im gonna blame it on my monster 320+ horsepower 350! 8^)

Don't forget, frame connectors not only help prevent frame pretzeling with a higher h.p. engine, but they also reduce normal body twist and the resulting squeaks and creaks associated with hitting bumps, railroad tracks, and slamming around turns.

That's pretty substantial, considering stock was around 190

Its my 'shadetree estimate' based on my setup. Engine started life as a 1973 350. The block is punched .040 and there are some moderate performance pistons. Has a Mellings cam. (moderate cam, same as used in a RV engine) I wish I knew more about the block but I didnt build it. This is what I was told..,but it comes from a friend.

Top end has headers and true dual exhaust, Brock intake and 650 carb. Accell ignition (kept the HEI).

Ive also got a big shiny air cleaner and a "Summit Racing" sticker in my door jamb...

You think my HP guesstimate is close?

Well normally I would say that's pretty close. However between the air cleaner and summit sticker, that adds AT LEAST another 50 hp... But that's just my professional opinion as a mechanic.

the t-top car is not the strongest frame, yes, but they make subframe connectors that will solve any high hp issues (over 300 according to gm) it sounds to me like youre getting a good deal, its harder and harder to find a manual camaro with a v8. post some pics when you get it

Did I mention Im running TWO 2 1/4 inch cherry bomb mufflers? That alone adds 50hp. How do I know? Well, those fart can mufflers that the ricers run add 25 HP, so mines gotta be double!

You think if I add a cold air induction box Ill gain another 80-100 hp? :-]

Ehhhh, that's a little on the high side. From my extensive experience, you should see around 50hp.

Now, if you add the DEI (Direct Exhaust Injection) you should get another 20hp, with zero emissions!

Whoa wait a minute. DEI is worth more than that. It's like a turbo, but more efficient. He should see at least 100 from that.
