Unhappy 1983 Fuse Box questions-Please help

Hello, I am trying to redo all of the electrical components in my '83 z-28 but have run into a problem. I was trying to replace fuses but realized that some of the inputs are missing the metal clips to secure the actual fuse itself. Is there a place I can find a new fuse box? I have looked with no luck, if not then what should I do to fix the problem? Thanks!

Have you looked into a company called painless wiring? You can get anythng from a fuse box to a complete wiring harness with all factory connections, correct plug ends etc. There are a few other companies but none come to mind right now? good luck

Okay I lied I am going to buy a new one LOL too much of a pain just to save a few $$ anyway. can someone tell me what some of the fuse panel abbreviations stand for? like CRK ACC LID, because I have to make mine last for a few months before I can afford the new one.

I know the ACC is the accessory fuse. Could the lid be the rear hatch?

crk would be crank. it is normal for some to be missing if it wasnt a feature on your car. you can also slide in new connectors and add wiring to circuits not originally equipped.
