well, tomorrow i pick up a 1983 with what i believe is the HO motor and a 5 speed transmission , she installed corvette gears in the rear end, so she claims.

i have seen the car and the body is straight, needs a new windshield, and some interior work alnong with a new igniion switch...

i am getting it for only $250 because she wants it out of her garage...

my questions are...

1) what kind of nightmare am i getting myself into, and is there any problems with these cars i should address up front.??

2) how hard is it to change out the key switch ignition?

3) anything else i need to know?
