I like the chrome/polished too, but dont want all of the upkeep that comes with it. Also, my car is either going to end up the factory light blue metallic color or the black, either of which I think the grey wheels will look much more sinister with.

Got my new wheels installed yesterday in the rain. Pretty happy with the fit so far, but I have not been able to drive it yet. Think I am going to step down a tire size or two in the front just for a bit more clearance.

Here is a crappy cell phone pic. I'll post better pics later when the weather is better, and when I can get it on level ground,LOL!!!

Nice wheels, car looks good. Are the front tires rubbing, or just "close"?

I finally got to drive my car a little tonight and my fronts are rubbing pretty bad when I go over a speed bump, and will actually scrub a little if I get on the brakes a little hard and the front end dives a little. I have a 255/45 right now and I know that I need to go a little smaller but want to make sure what size will fit without scrubbing especially if I am going to lower the car a little bit. I've seen cars on here with this same size front tire and very close to the same wheel specs that sit much lower than my car just wondering why I am having the scrubbing issues.

I am posting a pic below that I found somewhere might be member's car here, but this is what I am ultimately going for as an end result with my car. I believe this car has my same wheel combo but looks to sit much lower in the front than I could even think about with my car.

Lots of camber. Thats how they do it. They also use button head fender bolts to keep from rubbing the top. Here are my 245's.

Thanks for the info. So let me get this right...I have to run lots of camber to make even a 245/45 fit well, which in turn is going to cause crazy uneven wear on the tires. I have read so many threads on here with people saying they have the 17x8 front wheel with 4.5" b/s and 245/45 tire and that they have no rubbing issues or driving problems. Just kind of a let down to find out I have to run lots of camber and eat up my tires which seems to be a bit stupid on a street car.

I don't think were talking about ridiculous numbers. I see you on Nasty too, they have better answers for this than me. Mine are 1/4" farther in than yours. 4.8" BS All the research I did came up with 4.75" as the magic number.
