Hello All. Just got a 1973 Camaro, 454, tremix 5-speed. Had a 1973 383 stroker 4-speed previously. Very happy to have another Camaro! This one is an RS, but it was converted to a Z/28 tribute by the PO, so I am converting it back - basically.

The nose of the car has the correct RS front end with the running lights next to the headlights, not below the bumpers. But the nose piece on the front of that is wide and pointed in the middle. I would like to replace it with a nose piece that is more narrow and more rounded, which I see in pictures of other cars. Do I just need the RS nose piece, like Summit Racing Part Number:OER-3962990? Or does anyone know where I can find a part like the attached photo? Thanks!

 

Sounds like you're saying your front end is missing the nose extension. If yours looks like the picture, then yes, you need the extension piece (part # you posted) to attach to your front.
