Default TPI conversion questions

OK, so i just picked up a 350 TPI motor for real cheap, and i have a few questions in general and about converting it to carburated.

first off the casting #'s are 14093638 and the ID #'s are K1103FSG and i couldnt find much about it but it being a 350 from the yrs 86-94. any other info would help (hp/torque rating, 2 or 4 bolt etc.).

Now, is there any difference in this block than older 350's (like 69-80) besides the fuel pump? are all the parts still compatable? What all do i need to do to convert?

Can it bolt/work with a th400 tranny?

Can i just replace the TPI with a 4 barrel intake and carb and be good to go?

What type of electric fuel pump will be powerful enough to push it if converted?

any help would be appreciated
thanks

yes but be aware of what gear you need. you dont want the cam to tear up the distributor.

you have to find out if its a roller cam engine. if so you need the melonized gear on the distributor or expect to be pulling it back out chewed up something fierce.

it depends on exactly what year i believe 87 and up were roller cam engines. in which case you will eat a normal distributor gear. if you dont believe me i have pictures of what my 355 did to an 86 tpi distributor. i ended up getting a new distributor for an 88 vette which had the melonized gear already on it. theres also brass ones, carbon fiber, iron and a few more. so you need to figure out what you have so you know what you need.

What's so great about a 350 TPI? Should I be looking for one too?
