Default Starter Help!!!

I recently swapped my automatic transmission for Muncie M20 4-speed. I was wondering if I needed to get a different starter to turn the flywheel instead of the old flexplate? Or will the original starter work?

Put the old starter in. Then you will know for sure if it works or not.

The same starter will work on either, as long as you bought the right flywheel.
153 tooth-straight starter mount bolts. 168 tooth-angled starter mount.
