Default Pulley sizes

Okay next question. I heard somewhere that pulley sizes on SBCs vary with the size of the rears because they can turn faster or slower and possibly not power the accessories enough. So is the difference worth paying attention to or can I just go grab a crank shaft pulley off any SBC 350. With my engine being bored just wondering if it'll have any affect. Sorry for all the questions but I really got to get this beast goin!

Edit: oh yea and I understand I need one to match my long water pump

Haven't heard that before, but I guess it could make sense with the newer cars that have overdrives that allow the engine to practically idle down the road. Regardless of rear gears, if your car doesn't have overdrive that allows it to run down the freeway at around 1500 rpm or less, I doubt the pulleys would matter.
