Victor 454
Hey everybody, I just purchased a 77 (minus engine), and am looking at dropping a Victor 454 under the hood. Does anybody know of any reason this would not work? This is my first engine replacement, and I don't want to get ready to drop this new block into the mount, just to find it won't fit!
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

it depends on how tall the valve covers are also watch the brake booster! they do fit tho we are putting on in our 77 which had ac deleate in progress those are the two places we are close so finalizing the ac deleate and going to a 9"booster otherwise full length headders fit as well

The heater core outlets can also be an issue, and the low valve covers will clear, but taller will require the core to be flipped 180 degrees and new holes cut in the heater box.
You'll want the larger 31" radiator, and make sure it's either a 4 row, or two one inch rows. The stock smallblock mounts will work, and the hoses will need to be shortened, or buy new hoses for a BBC Camaro.
The booster can be swapped to a smaller brake booster, if you do need more clearance.
