My car power dies after I shut it off. But after I jump it I can drive it all day no problems until I turn of the ignition. I thought I could be the alternator but a new one was put in right before I bought it this year. Maybe lose alt. belt. Any thoughts?

 

have the battery checked.at your local parts store

 

It looks new but I will have it checked.

 

well whoever had the car first might have bought a defective battery just because its new doesnt mean its functional

 

you can also check for a loose ground
