yea hi im bout to buy a camaro z28 1977 that doesnt run well here the post i was wanted to kno if it was worth it well heres the post~~~>
1977 Camaro Z28, Auto, 350 V8, Complete unmolested. Original motor. It does not run. The car rolls fine, I can deliver within 30 miles for gas money. very little rust. If you are going to restore a car, then restore something that its worth while. You will invest yor money wisely on this car. This car is very rare, 1977 Z28 were only made for 1/2 year and in 1978 the body changed. No Z-28 in 75 and in 76, Be the one with a unique car. Priced cheap. I have a complete 4 speed setup, pedals, z-bar, M20 transmission, etc to convert car to manual shift. Also extra front seats, door panels still in box. Call me :-)
email for pics P.S. I also have a 350 motor with 450HP just rebuilt from machine shop. I will let you have for $1000 I am cleaning up

If you like that style, and you are mechanically inclined, then I would grab it if the price is cheap enough. How much is the car anyway? I would much rather find a solid car (as long as this one is) that needs mechanical work, as opposed to one that runs well but the body is shot (money pit). The car, and what comes with it, could be worth more than he's asking, in parts value alone? Just be sure to look the whole body over, and under to make sure it's not a rusted hulk that's been covered up with bondo.

Well it looks a little rough but $1000 ain't much money these days.
'77 Z28s may be fairly rare but rare doesn't always translate into valuable, late 2ng gen cars have yet to start bringing big $ numbers but they are climbing slowly.
Here's the deal the way I see it,if you are wanting a Camaro and this is all you can afford and you're willing to spend a lot of time hard work and money to make it a nice car it might be worth it.
If you think you've got a diamond in the rough there and see big $$$$ with a little TLC to get it running and spruced up forget it,you'll likely never see much if any profit with this car as a project for resale, that assuming the reason it doesn't run isn't something very simple and cheap to fix.
