My 1981 Z-28

Default My 1981 Z-28

Just started to work on this 1981 Z-28 that has been sitting in the garage since 1990, atleast that was when it had its last inspection, the car has less than 23k miles.......Everything is origional!!!!!!! What do you guys think?.......

What do I think?.......wish it was mine to restore.

That said I have real doubts about that mileage,more likely 127,000 miles unless you have it somehow documented.
None the less looks like a good car to have some fun with,congrats and enjoy.

Nope, those are the origional miles. My uncle who was in the FBI bought the car in 81' and later died in 87'. I guess he really never drove it because of his job.......

Good lookin car. I also just purchased an 81 Z28 that only has 27k miles. It isnt in near as good of shape as yours is. Mine had been thru 3 owners but none of em ever drove it. It has set in a field for so long that the floor pans look like the flinstone mobile. Im currently restoring it but having trouble getting all the wiring straight under the hood with all the smog stuff etc. Ive been a camaro fanatic for years. after owning 2 others now this one. Ive got my work cut out for me. Good luck with yours.
