Hey all,

I recently purchased a 1981 Camaro Z28. It has a B&M shifter installed and has automatic windows but no center console. I found a used console but I'm not sure if it will be able to accommodate the B&M shifter? Do you think it will fit?

 

Thats a good question.i would like to know if there is a direct replacement for the stock shifter in the console

 

B&M actually makes a shifter that is made specially for the camaro and firebird consoles. Summit as well as most other performance shops can get it. Its called the console megashifter. The part number is 80692 from Northern Auto Parts. Thats what Ill probably put in my car that I'm restoring if for no other reason its a decent price and looks good too. Dont know if thats any help to you or not.
