Not sure if upgrading the HEI ignition will be beneficial to my car the block and tranny are out now and ill be going with a mild set up upon rebuild maybe with 280-300 hp will the HEI be suffucient seeing as the car was only rated at 225 hp stock any help would be greatly appreciated

 

oh ya should work just fine,the heishould beable to handle up to like400hp but if your worryed about it you can buy a after market coil at auto zone for cheap, our leave it get good plugs and wires and you should be set, hope i helped you. good luck on the rebuild.
