Default Can I run the stock heads

I have an '81 camaro with a 350, I just got an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, a Edelbrock Performer RPM camshaft and a Holley 600cfm carb. I would love some aftermarket heads but I'm getting married in a few so I'm very low on cash. So would the stock heads still work good enough with this set-up?

Although aftermarket heads, or even reworked stock heads would perform better than you have, yours will work fine. You're going to have a good breathing intake system, and hopefully your exhaust too with headers, etc. The heads will then be your one drawback, but the performance loss would be more in the upper rpm range when your engine starts huffin and puffin.

Yeah I do plan on runnig headers. If I put maybe some bigger springs in the stock heads would that help at all or do you have any suggestions on what kinda of springs or anything else I can do with them. This car is going to be something that I can drive every day on the street if I wanted to, not a full out drag car.
