Default 77 chevy camaro 305 flooding

Just rebuilt the carb (rochester 2gc) on my 305. I am getting some really bad flooding outside the carb through the air horn. Could it be the float not properly adjusted? Can you please let me know what you know or any suggestions. They are greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Could be, but no way of knowing what you did to the carb without looking at it.

Do you have your vacuum hoses hooked up proper? I had a prob like that one time and it was my float, it was disintegrating.

Did you replace the float when you rebuilt the carb, or did you do the job on the cheap?
If you used the old float, it could be going glub-glub-glub (sinking).
