flooding

Default flooding

i was wondaring if the exaust pluged up will cause my car to flood,the cat is pluged solid, besides a slice in it with the grinder and the car is flooding mad, im not driving her like this, just start it and get it on the trailer and shut it off again so i dont spoil the motor, im going out cutting the converter off now but im wondaring if its pluged up wil lit cause it to flood or should i look at something else when i got htat done

A plugged cat isn't allowing your engine to breath. For comparison, take a deep breath. Now cover your mouth and nose tightly with your hand and see how easy it is to exhale!! That's what your engine is trying to do. Once that plugged cat is off, you'll have a totally different responding engine.

yeah i got the cat gutted now so im gona change the oil and see if its still flooding, the car has a code for maf and temp sensor i was wondaring if either of these would make it flood or should the flooding be stoped now that the engine is able to breath. thanks.
