Default 1970 1/2 Z28 Headers

Hey,
New member, just purchased a 70 1/2 Z28 and I would like to put some headers on it, currently has the stock headers. I would like a set of shorties and I would like them bolt on. I've spent some time on the net looking but cant seem to come up with anything. I will make my own if I have to but would like to save time buying them. I'm looking for a quality pair, not cheap leaky headers. Any help and direction would be much appreciated.

If I were you I'd get a set of these, much better flow than shorties which aren't much better than stock.

Stainless steel top quality stuff at ARH that fits like it should,I have them on my '01.
Just my 2cts. I've never seen shorties on an early Camaro, if you are set on them you'll probably need to have a set made.

There another brand of header you might try. I have both a 1979 Z-28 RS Camaro. And a 1981 El Camino SS ,The Camaro has Doug Thorley long tube headers. And the El Camino SS has a 290 HP 350 with a set of Flow Tech "shorty" headers on it.The fit and finish are very good.

flo tech does make a good header. i've never had a problem with summit or jegs headers you can always fill a leak opposed to fabricating a set. use soft copper gaskets. and soft aluminum collector gasket 3bolt. personally ialways go long tube headers because the great low speed, low end torque they give coupled with all the hp. even a tiny set of 1.5" headers with long tubes are great. long tubes over shorties anyday. but shorties are just kool dang it.
