I need some advise on standard trans for 70 I just picked up. Prev. owner told me he had a t-10 in it but I did not get engine or trans with car.(he kept for his 69 vette) I am not familair with the t-10 but my dad has a muncie long tail and a few saginaws from race car days that I can use. I think I am going to build mild 454 in car and am wondering what is most reasnable and all around good trans for a driver? I hear alot about 5 and 6 speeds but I assume they are expensive to buy and install? There is a local swap meet this weekend so any advise what I should look for will be appreciated. Tedd
