Working on a 72 SS396 with Muncie. The GM shifters were trash, I understand GM sold an over the counter replacement Hurst unit (notably without 3rd and 4th gear stop bolts) with a round lever which had a bend in it about half way up to the ball. In searching for one I find some with the Hurst letters stamped above the bend and some with the letters right in the bend. Does anybody have a bonafide GM-Hurst stick that can give me the straight scoop?
