Hi, first post. Trying to finish reassembling the front suspension on what I suspect is a 79 or 80 subframe. The subframe has been installed in an old Cadillac. I bought new lower control arm bolts from JMI performance that included flat washers. I have 2 questions:
1) Do i need the washers? I don't see any on the exploded views I can find.

2) Does it matter which way the bolts install? One diagram I saw said the lower bolts must both have the nuts facing the rear of the car. Most of the others show the nuts facing each other.
