Default 2nd generation coil spring spacer

I have a few questions to ask the members. I have a hot rod truck with a 2nd generation camaro front suspension and recently have installed a BBC. I'm having an issue with the front tires hitting the fenders when I turn and am needing to space the body up higher from the tires. the 1st question i have is how would I find out if I had coil springs for a big block? I've put in rubber coil spring spacers IN the coils but haven't gotten much improvement. I need about 1" more for clearance. The 2nd question I have is is there a better way to increase the body height? What would you suggest. NO I'm not drag racing, merely a street cruiser. thank you.

You could get some coil spring spacers, They are Aluminum and go under the coil spring in the lower a arm,it's a 2-1 ratio,1/2 spacers will raise 1". Summit has them

thank you. does the lower control arm have a seat these aluminum spacers sit in, and if so, will the coil spring stay sitting on these??

Yes,the spring will sit in a small pocket ,the spacer fits this pocket and coil will seat into spacer. Tape them to bottom of coil if stubborn to get to seat correctly, stock coils you will have a lot of turns, performance coils will be larger diameter with less turns

A easy way would be just jack the subframe from the body some more, put some bigger spacers in. Lot easier then messing with coils
