Yeah I'm not sure. I got the plug wires for an 85 Chevy truck with a 454 so that it was for an HEI Dist. I am starting to think that the boots are just to big around. I am going to have to look around for some that have a smaller dia plug boot. I will take a picture of my problem next time I'm at the shop working on it. If there is room for the glass boots like Val said I will get them.

Val could you tell me what you have on you big block camaro for headers and plug wires? Thanks.

You mean "had" on it? Sold the Camaro about a month ago.
It had Doug Thorley headers, and the plug wires were Accel.

Wow, I guess i need to start reading more around here. I'm sorry I never would have thought you would have gotten rid of your car. I like the look of the new project. I will check out some different plug wires today.

Sold them all just before they turned 18, so they couldn't put up any fight.

I'm thinking I could lease mine out for hard labor. These boys are gonna be strapping. I'm 6'4" and was 245 at my peak. I have slimmed down to 195 but their mom is 5'8". There gonna be big.

Lol. my boy thinks this car is his and he's only 6.

Here is the drivers side #1 plug wire I guess this one is the only problem but now looking at it a set of 45deg boots might be the key. I know that's what I need for #2 it's just to long to where it hits the control arm.

And some pictures of the cowl hood on. It still needs some fine tuning on the adjustment but its on.

I am starting a summer project myself in a couple weeks. Reading this thread makes me wish time away! I take delivery if my 70 Z in two weeks and can't wait to get started.
