Well the motor and trans are in the car. I didn't get any pictures cause I didn't have my phone with me. Ill snap some pictures tomorrow. I hope to hear it run tomorrow. What should I be doing to the sub frame mounts to help stiffen the chassis up?

Since you've already got engine and trans in, you've complicated doing things with the subframe mounts. Probably would have been easier to do the subframe connectors before engine and trans also.
Putting urethane bushings in the subframe mounts and the frame connectors would both stiffen up the chassis.

Well I worked on the camaro for a little bit today. It seemed like I was doing more running on parts then anything. Hopefully tomorrow I will hear it fire up. I still need a drive shaft, exhaust, some wheels and tries, and probably some other little odd and ends.

ITS ALIVE. It started and ran today. I didn't run it long due to no radiator, no exhaust, no alternator. Still got some other things to finish up. Yes that a/c box was a problem. The engine it's self fit in there with no problems, but the valve cover would not come close to going on. The rest of that a/c box will be coming out and getting covered up.
I do have a question. On my plug wires, I just picked up a set of stock big block plug wires and they all have straight boots on the plug end. The first one on each side is hitting the headers. Do I need to look in to shorter plugs or do I need to pick up different plugs? The rest of them fit great with the straight boots.

Different plugs wont help much, as the shorty plugs are only 3/16" shorter. The best cure is a set of glass boots that slide over the ends of the wires, but they're a bit spendy.

I have a set of Taylor Spiro Pro wires that have been on fire and still look new after cleaning the soot off with brake clean. They have 90* boots. This is the first I have heard of a BB guy having plug issues. Its usually us SBC guy complaining.

Agreed Damon! Never had plug wires close on a BBC before. But my 327 has fenderwells, so no clearance issues there either! Wonder if the fenderwell headers on my 454 will have clearance issues?

Actually my Hedman's have the best fir of any regular header I have used. I had Hooker SUperComp fender well headers on the Nova and that was a breeze to mess with. I even have 10mm Moroso blue wires on there at one point with angle plugs UNDER the headers without issues. But the kept breaking the tubes between the center ports.
