I thought I would be proactive and replace the heater core while everything is apart. It had no troubles before. What a PITA!!!! I havn't even gotten the new one to install yet. 50 screws all different sizes be a miracle I get 80% back in!

Nice work on the spoiler! Huge improvement over where you started with it. Sure gets old assembling and disassembling parts to do things right, but there's really no option.

Thanks for the encourgement!! Got the heater core installed $34.0 from Autozone and they got it right!! I'm kinda surprised I can bend like that to get it in. There was nothing wrong with the old one.
I also did the body mount bushings on one side. They went right In.

Guess I should have checked Autozone. I paid another $12 for mine at NAPA.

I shop NAPA because of my high school shop teacher. We ALWAYS had to go to NAPA, he would back his decision by adding. " There is a reason Autozone's sign says discount autoparts." Now my brother is a manager at Autozone and is waving a 20% discount in my face. I like Rock Auto sometimes too.

NAPA was the only place I went for many years because their people seemed to really be good at their job, but it seems in recent years they've gone the same route of dumbing down their employees, and I'm not as loyal anymore. Now I usually go to a local hi performance small chain store called Baxter's and they can come close to the other's prices, and really are car guys.
