Your going to do the back also? Even the window?
This is the inner side of the quarter panel.

no im gonna keep my full window but do the back panel, with the round lights, yeah im sure mine are pretty rusty there too, about an inch from the the wheel back is rusted away,1 inch high.so needs new quarter patch panel any way.and my lower rear valance is pretty rusty.i think i can get away with just the patch instead of the 80% quarters havent decided yet.heck im even scared to pull my carpet to see what i might find underneath.

Merry X=mas to you and all!

All I want for christmas is inner quarter panels. This could have been so easy had they been done before the outers were installed. I spent some time this AM Fabbing. I'll be making them from three pieces. I'll still need some seam sealer. Much too tight to work easily/.

The inner tail light housing was much easier.

Amazing amount of work! I admire anyone who takes on that much rust and gets it all solid! I watched a show once on Power Block where they used automotive adhesive to connect the inner wheelwells to the outter so they could replace them without welding and messing up the paint.
They welded the inner edge towards the floor pan, but glued the outter edge. I'm amazed at how good some of the automotive adhesives are! I've never used any, but definitely would consider it in an area that's hard to weld.

I think it will be easier to weld. Where the dots are I'll punch holes and weld there. I'm not trying to stitch it all. Nor will I grind. I'll seal and hide with undercoating. This patch was only 6" and the length of the rear.

Very good work. I wish I had the time/money to keep up that kind of progress.

Thanks for the compliments!! All I can say good about this repair is it's done. No one will see it unless I park on thier face.
Pic of the pieces with the inside primed ready to go on.
Pics of it finished and undercoated.
The top that looks rotted is doubled up with new quarter. I left it!!
