Cowl only opens when I floor it.It's electric. But the seal isn't that good. It looks good when I open the hood though. This is for looks more than performance. I started making mesh covers for the blinker holes.

That air cleaner has a lid like mine. I was talking speeds of 120 mph too. At 135 it was getting silly. I only went 9's 3x. All on nitrous, so went she started to lean out I pucker up.

Nitrous and lean don't make a good combo. I'd be a bit worried too Damon.

If you remember what I've told you about that car. The reason I never had 4 nitrous passes is because I had a piston let go, the very next time I had it out. I know better than to use Hyperutectic pistons w/ N20. I don't think it leaned out enough to kill it. The nitrous cracked a piston. It sounded like a lifter tick. So when I went to my next race I did my burnout as normal, it got louder. Then staged it. When I came off the brake the front end rose, then dropped like a rock and I drove over my pistons.

Ouch! I know a lot of guys using nitrous, and even those who've been successful don't get longevity out of their engines. NOS and longevity just don't seem to go together, unless you keep the boost so low it doesn't make much difference.

Well I made some parts for the cold air induction. I also have a cheesy mock-up of the system. You'll get the picture though.
The blinkers still need finishing and everything will be powder black.

Looks good, but not sure how it will look with the hood open. The dryer duct will be tough to make look good. Love the grilles for the turnsignal opening!

LOL the dryer duct will return to the dryer where it belongs! It is good for mock-up.
Had a problem with the pass side body mount. I also finished the lower rad support
