looks great your doing the 2 car garage cut of make your own paint shop ,I got a friend has 3 bays an is going to let us paint 3 cars in it hope just before the season is over , an one is mine beats what you pay at a shop ,awesome

thanks, we were gonna rent the spray booth at a shop but plans fell through and it worked out for the best. this wound up getting painted over 2 weeks. the stripes were a PITA. I got the stencil kit, which turned into the biggest piece of garbage that I ever wasted 100 bucks on. had to lay everything out old school. and the only 2 pieces from the stencil kit we actually used, on the header panel, came out crooked. we have to sand it down and respray the stripes. how did they do it on an assembly line from the factory is beyond me.

Beautiful paint job! When I had mine painted the one area the painter agonized on was the stripes. He hand laid them out also, but really feared bleed through, and tape removal! He got no bleed around the tape, but one place on the trunk stuck and created a ragged edge when pulling the tape off. He fixed it perfectly, but was obviously disappointed when it happened!

I picked the car up on Sunday. now my work begins. I got the trunk painted today. I gotta do a little bit every day.

what engine you puting in there ,love the space those cars had under the hood ,a sbc looks small in them ,i would be going BB with that ,though with sb plenty of space for working on things oh the good old days are back Beauitful outcome

It is a real Z28 and the original LT1 is going back in.
