Yes I saw that. That was in Tulsa for what they called Tulsarama. It was a fifty year anniversary thing that they did. Too bad the car did not make it.

As for mine Im gonna fix the driverside power window motor and the pass side door lock actuator. I need to fix the sagging headliner too. I think I ll order the new material from Classic Industries and put it back on the original board. The other issues the car has is the power antenna wont go up (motor runs) and the heater/ac motor constantly turns at one speed. Slow! Other then that everything else is good. The ac even works. Im gonna clean the outside but not over clean it. I want to make the wheels tire trim rings and center caps really pop though So I may spend some time on them. Any suggestions on how I should fix the headliner or blower motor problem? Is there anywhre I could send the power antenna out to get fixed?

Not sure they had the technology in 1957. They did mention they had sump pumps, but they had quit over the 50 yrs.

The blower will run unless the slider is on cold. I think thats what i read. I'm pretty sure on that though. The windows may have dirt in the tracks causing issues. It for sure didn't were out. I would do my best to have the motors repaired instead of replaced. Maybe reglueing the head liner too.

The power antenna uses a solid flexible nylon that drives the antenna up and down. They eventually get dry and break. Not sure if anyone repairs them, so you might goggle antenna repair and see if you find anyone.
The repairs inside the door or even the antenna in the trunk wont be a critical to keep original, as they don't show and you can do them without worrying about changing things. Polishing the chrome and wheels wont hurt either, as crusty, dirty chrome will detract from the car.
If the headliner board is good, then I'd also just recover it, but if it's starting to warp or sag I'd replace the board too.
