Probably the spot that gives me the most uneasy feeling is the cage/interior order of completion. I want/need a cage. I also want a comfy ride and the bars as close to the shell as humanly possible. i really will have to buy a bender and just have at it until I like it. I just dont trust anyone to get it EXACTLY were I want it. Not for lack of trying either. I just want it to blend into the car because I'm so tall, well kind of wide now too. But the car cant be tight on me. My Nova was the worst. I could hardly see due to the halo bar and padding coming down right into my line of sight. I couldnt sit the seat any lower either. couldnt lean it back any farther because the seat belt bar was in the way.

I am hoping to run mid 10s and have to have a certified cage. My cage guy told me to have all of the seats in the car and in the correct position so he can place the cage where it needs to be.

Any idea on where to get one of those bars at?

I have a brace between my frame rails under mine so my plane was to drop it down to there. He is a pic of one like mine. The silver bar isnt stock but makes a nice ledge to set the rad on.

Please post up the tips your interior guy gave you. Never know, it may be something none of us have ever heard of or seen but is completely logical.

I'm guessing since it's all welded in, it may be a custom built tube under the front pictured. Sure wouldn't take much to build one.

Question of the day, what would your guys recommendations be for a drive line? Should i go aluminum? need to get one or order ASAP.

I've never used an aluminum driveline, so can't really say much about them. I would try to stay with the largest diameter driveline, as diameter is where you get the most strength.

Hi, was reading your post on roll cage. What material is he going to use? Will it be completely welded in? Not too much expensive for $2000 when considering $3000 from ridetech. Can he ship to other countries? I will be interested in one. Thank you

And by the way, well done on your built. Very nice. I am reading every step.

I would use Dennys Nitrous ready shaft. They will replace it if it ever twists or breaks. They wont do that with their aluminum ones. At $400 its not that bad either.

I got my bar from custom works. Keith is the owner and a good guy. He also drives a early second gen. www.customworksproducts.com
