My 1970 Camaro w/ 572 Build

I guess my memory is getting worse. I don't remember those splash aprons ever on my car? Now I need to go open the hood and see if I can see any signs of staple holes that would indicate they were once there! If the holes are there I must have removed the aprons sometime in the last 38 years!
BUT I think (?) I may have you beat on this, I won my 69 in a bet/ repair deal and in the end, I gave my buddy $250.00 for my car.

I think what greg was getting at was me and bruce talking about 1/4 mile times and me comparing my car to his and i said i had 3.73s which would hurt the drag times a bit.
Many more parts showed up at my house in the last couple of days but i figure im close enough to being home i will show them when i install them.

I just spent the last hour browsing through the post pictures of your ride forum. I have vowed to never look at that again until i decide to rebuild my car correctly. Sooo many nice second gens on this site.

If you guys want to browse at something nice, take a look at this.....Warning, this is not a Camaro, but man it's just as nice! It belongs to John Heard and it is one sweet car.

I have a soft spot for 3rd gen Novas. Not long after we married I bought my wife a 1970 Nova, and we fixed it up as her daily driver. Some drunk crashed into it on the street and totaled it in front of our house one night.
That's as sweet as anything I've ever seen in a 3rd gen Nova!
