Wow, That looks great! Its not your normal blue. It has more depth than that. Good choice.

thanks oldman9 i appreciate it yeah it was a diffrent blue than i saw before,but i really like it alot.

yeah im hoping to put the stripes back on it,will depend if i can use factory hood or not,if i have to go with the cowl hood i might just do the rally stripes or maybe some baldwin motion stripes.but i reaaly want to keep it original if i can.then i have to decide what color stripes to go with,what u think damon maybe the silver ones.

I like the silver/charcoal ones. Maybe the blue ones. Mine will be silver/charcoal on silver. For now I'm kicking around painting rally stripes in gloss over my satin black. Just for fun, it wouldn't be hard to sand back off when the time came for silver.

yeah that would look cool,should sand right off easily too.yeah im thinking of the silver and chrcoal too for my stripes if i go that route,we will see once i put my engine in if i have enough room with my stock hood.

finally got the patch work on my cowl all finished and layed 3 coats of 2k primer down ,now i just need to wet sand with 600 grit and its ready for paint,then its on to my engine for installation,cant wait to finally see my engine in the engine bay.

Sweet, I'm glad you guys are making progress. I get my first day of in 4 weeks tomorrow. Problem is its full of family stuff. I got soccer in the morning and the mud runs at 4. That should be fun though. At least I'll be in my element. My boys are gonna love it.

i love the mud runs too,ur boys will love it,i know i always did.so i got my cowl all wet sanded with 600 grit then i cleaned it really good with wax and grease remover,then i sprayed 3 coats of cobalt blue metallic and 2 coats of clear coat.
