There was the factory red. Then it got painted blue at some point. Then this purple that was so dark it looked black in the daylight. I sanded it back to metal and the funny thing is there wasn't much wrong with the body. The kid I got it from edge cut into the layers below when he did the purple, this made it look like there was a ton of filler. Really it was just bad sanding technique. It was a Texas car with zero rust. I found tickets to the astro dome under the seat when I swapped the interior for a 89 RS. Never did paint it, just rattle can primer.

my car was originally flame red, burgundy, then before i bought it it was repainted the original color,i didnt like that color much so i painted it plumb crazy purple, wow that guy must not now what hes doing, probably was his first car or his first try at body work, how did it hold up with that spray bomb primer, ive hard bad things and good things about it.im thinking of using spray can primer under my hood on my firewall and inner fenders.

LOL That car was not driven much. The rattle can wasn't out in the weather much either. I basically used it to stop the metal from rusting. The car had a roller 305 that sounded insane. It had issues with the suspension I never did sort out. It had wheel shake so bad that the dash was coming apart. It was the most violent wheel hop I have ever seen.

mine did that same so installed an after market torque arm that mounted to the floor tunnell instead of the tranny.they have been known to bust the mount right off the transmisssion.
